History
JOHN BIRCH GUITARS was founded in Birmingham in 1970 by John Birch, to provide a custom repair and guitar building service. Custom guitar designs were based on the popular models of the day, but were built using new construction methods such as :-

• Through neck to body centre sections
• Improved truss rods
• A new range of pickups called hyperflux, biflux, & multiflux,
  which offered new standards of sound by being the best pickups ever at that time.

The combination of all these innovative ideas soon found favour with top players, as the list of past customers shows, & the company was very successful throughout the 70s and 80s.

In 1993 JOHN BIRCH GUITARS relocated to Nottingham, introduced new ideas to bring the company up to date with new technology, and now offers a limited range of the original series of guitars and other makes, with the new pickups and MIDI systems. The service has been further extended to include the classic range of instruments.
