Pickups

Full Range Pickups
Extending the Sonic capabilities of your guitar!

The Full Range pickup is available in two formats

  • A single coil strat type
  • A standard size humbucker.

The output from these, as the name suggests, is a wide frequency response well beyond
the range of a normal pickup, into the very high band.
Therefore, the natural harmonics of the guitar can be heard - producing a sound
almost like a twelve string guitar.

The output is also very clean, and when used for example in the centre position
on a standard strat set-up offers a great alternative sound.

The humbucker version has the additional advantage of being able to offer a variable
range of sounds by using an extra tone control.

The coil tap is used to connect to this extra pot, and gives a range of sounds from
hard to mellow when used in conjunction with the normal tone control.

A good combination, on a three single coil setup, is to fit a Full Range pickup in the centre position
giving a huge contrast at the flick of a switch.
